Much better weather was promised for this year's event, and so it turned out with only a sprinkle of rain on Sunday afternoon. Rob's team were a man down after a late cancellation, so Martyn played two singles matches at the same time against McNeill opposition winning one and halving one on Sunday, and with one win and one loss on Monday. That proved to be decisive as the 4-ball matches were 2:1 to Dorrell on Sunday and 2:1 to McNeill on Monday, giving Rob overall victory by 4 1/4 points to 3 3/4.

The golf was quite a surprise, and much better than the normal standard of hotel course. All in all an enjoyable event and excellent value for money.
