26 February 2010
Margaret takes over the reins as Lady Captain of Scarthingwell Golf Club
After 10 years with the club, two years on committee, a year as competitions secretary, and a year as vice captain, Margaret was appointed Lady Captain of the club in February 2010. Scarthingwell is a parkland course between Tadcaster and Sherburn, and boasts some 600+ members and a fine restaurant.
Margaret, now a 22 handicap, takes her new responsibilities very seriously and will find herself playing a lot of competitive golf during her year as Captain.
